Located on St. Stephen’s Green, this will be Slalom’s first office in Ireland, following the firm’s impressive growth to multiple cities in Europe. Originally launching in Seattle in 2001, Slalom has since grown organically to 45 markets across eight countries worldwide.
Slalom Ireland will serve customers throughout Ireland and Europe, alongside Slalom’s current global partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, Salesforce, and Google Cloud.
To support continued growth across the country, Slalom plans to hire more than 50 team members over the course of its first year, who will support customers seeking help to accelerate their growth and transformation, embrace emerging technology, and deliver initiatives more efficiently.
Slalom’s presence in Ireland, supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland, will also see the launch of Slalom Build, Slalom’s capability for builders of digital products. Slalom’s Build-as-a-Service offering will blend design, product engineering, analytics, and automation to create the modern technology products of tomorrow.
David Gregg, previously of Accenture and Vodafone Ireland, has joined as Slalom Build’s Managing Director, and will lead the technology implementation for Irish clients and build a world class team of product focused engineers based in Dublin.
Jane Dawson-Howe, Country Leader - Slalom Ireland comments: “At Slalom, people are at the core of everything we do. We base our decision-making and strategy on creating meaningful impact for our clients, to allow them to connect more deeply with their customers. Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Simon Coveney TD said: “I warmly welcome Slalom’s announcement that they are opening their first Irish office in Dublin as part of their European expansion.
