Dublin, 7th November 2019 - Eurofins, the international life sciences company, has officially opened its new Global Software Engineering Centre in the Leopardstown South County Business Park.
In January 2019, the company announced that the creation of 150 high-tech jobs with the establishment of its Global Software Engineering Centre in Dublin and it needed a suitable office footprint to accommodate the growing team. The company is on track to reach its 2019 goal of employing 60 staff, with further growth planned in 2020.
Commenting on the opening event, Claudius Masuch, Director of the Eurofins IT Solutions Engineering Office said: “Our recruitment team has been particularly busy, interviewing and selecting suitable candidates for the many roles we are creating here in Dublin. In our search for talent in the Digital and DevOps space, I am pleased to see that the quality of applicants, both from Ireland and abroad, is outstanding. Our recruitment drive will continue at increased speed throughout 2020 and we hope to have a full team in place in 2021.”
